How much does lawn mowing cost?
Regular lawn mowing prices depend on lawn size, access, and how often the lawn is mowed.
The average cost of our lawns is between $40.00-$65.00 per mow.
This can be more for larger properties with small fortnightly lawns starting from$35.00.
We always provide a free, no‑obligation quote before starting any work.
How much does your gardening cost?
Gardening, hedge trimming and section clearing prices depend on many factors like size, access, how much waste to take and to take it away to the tip.
We prefer to add up all those things and send a quote case by case.
How do I get a quote?
Getting a quote is easy. You can contact us through the website, give us a call, txt Blair on his mobile or send us an email, check out our contacts page get those details.
Are your quotes free?
Yes, there is no charge for quotes. They are also non- obligated of course with the option to accept or decline, it's up to you.
How do your quotes work?
We like to go to the property to have a look at it ourselves, it is also good to meet the customer if we can, but we don't always do as some home owners live outside of Wellington.
Quotes are sent via email and are valid for 7 days.
How do I pay for your services?
Payment is easy and straightforward.
We send invoices via Xero within 24 hours of service, and payment can be made via internet banking.
We accept cash payments but most people pay online.
Payment is to be paid within 14 days of service.
We ask for the invoice number to be placed in the particulars so we know who has paid.
Consistent late payments may result in cancelation our service.
Do I need to be home during the service?
No, we have all the gear and no there's no need for us to enter the house, nobody needs to be home.
Many of our customers aren’t present during service. As long as we have access to the lawn and pets are managed, we’ll take care of everything and leave your property tidy.
Do you mow properties with dogs?
Yes, we mow properties with dogs.
We notify dog owners the day before the service.
We simply ask that dog waste is picked up before the service.
We ask that dogs are secured or kept inside while we’re on site for everyone’s safety.
If we have sent a notification and dog waste has not been picked up or a dog is out during the service we may cancel our service as operator health and well being is extremely important to us.
Are there contracts or long‑term commitments?
Accepting the quote is an agreement for us to come and complete the service, you are free to stop the service at any time, but we do ask for 48 hours of notice.
Do you remove grass clippings and green waste?
Yes. Grass of a flat lawn will be mowed with a catcher and grass clippings will be taken and green waste can be removed.
We have a high sided trailer to take large amounts of green waste away for section tidy-ups.
Our green waste is taken to a recycle center and turned into mulch.
What happens if I mow my own lawn?
If you normally use us for regular mowing we prefer you not to mow your lawn yourself due to our scheduling system, but if you decide to please let us know before we go around as this helps us avoid wasting time on unnecessary trips and keeps our scheduling efficient. We may cancel our service to you if we feel that we are wasting time on unnecessary trips to your property.
Do you do one‑off lawn mowing jobs?
Absolutely. If your lawn has gotten away on you or you just need a one‑off tidy‑up, we’re happy to help. One‑off lawn mowing is popular for rentals, property sales, or busy periods.
What areas of Wellington do you service?
We’re based in Johnsonville and mainly service Wellington’s northern suburbs and Karori, including Johnsonville, Newlands, Churton Park, Khandallah, Ngaio, Tawa and nearby areas.
